This is a 75 minute slow and steady yoga class that is great for stretching and connecting mind and body with movement and breath. We will often break down poses and use straps and tennis balls to target the bodies fascia and deep connective tissues. There will be some challenging and strengthening asanas but you are always guided to listen to your body and take only what you need.
This class is great for those who want to start a yoga practice or are healing from injuries or those needing a slower pace, the studio is not heated.
-
This Hatha style yoga class will allow you to create a strong foundation for your practice and build functional strength for your life. Yin Yoga is a slow paced, meditative yoga style that focuses on passively stretching the deep connective tissue. The deeper "yin" tissues are ligaments, joints and the deep fascia network and even our bones. Some benefits are increased range of motion and flexibility, increased circulation and bone density. There are emotional/mental benefits as well due to the calming meditative pace of the class.
-
In Yinyasa, each pose is held for one minute. The gift of time gives the student the ability to not only explore the foundations of each pose, but the mental and emotional body in each pose as well. This is a deeply meditative and personal practice.
Variations are given for the most supportive version of the pose to the most adaptive. You will leave this class with a renewed sense of self, clarity, and strength.
This class is open to students of all levels. Great for both beginners and practiced students.

It's exactly what it sounds like! A yoga class designed with kids in mind. We will learn how to meditate, how to move mindfully, and how to rest. This class is best suited for children ages 6-10, but if you think your younger child will have no problem staying on their mat during class and listening to instructions, then they are welcome to join!
We have yoga mats, please bring water bottles!
Parents can drop kids off or chill out in our common room.

This 60 minute class will begin with a restorative stretch to allow our bodies to transition into practice. We will move into a flow, building some heat and energy. Practice ends with deep restorative stretching and rest.
